                                  2’-2’3’’ warm up 9:00-10:00 (Ticketed $10 for 5 minutes)

                                                    Classes will start promptly at 10a.m.

               Entry Fee’s: All regular classes $12- all medal classes $15- warm-ups $10

“DIVISIONS”

 

Special Hunter Division:

No restrictions on horse or rider. Open to everyone.   Courses consist of 6-8 vertical fences set at 2’- 2’3”.  No in and out combinations to be used.  Riders will be asked to canter under saddle.

Open Equitation Division:

Open to juniors and Adults, no professionals.  Courses will consist of 6-8 vertical fences set at 2’-2’3”.  Riders will be asked to canter under saddle,

Summer Hill Mini Medal:

Open to adult and junior riders.  All contestants required to perform over at least 8 fences not to exceed 2’3”.  One or more individual tests of the top four contestants may be requested at the judges discretion.

Short Stirrup Division:

Open to riders 15 and under that have not competed in jumping classes higher than 18” at any other show.  Courses will consist of 4-6 fences which may be taken at the trot or canter at the option of the rider.  Riders will be asked to canter in the flat class. (May be combined w/ long stirrup)  Medal points not to count towards Champion.

Long Stirrup Division:

Open to riders 16 and over that have not competed in any jumping classes higher that 18” at any other show. Courses will consist of 4-6 fences which may be taken at the trot or canter at the option of the rider.  Riders will be asked to canter in the flat class. (May be combined with short stirrup) Medal points not to count towards champion.

Junior Walk/Trot Division: 

Open to riders under the age of 18 who are not ready to compete at the canter.  All disciplines are welcome to compete.  Riders will be asked to walk and trot on the flat, and compete over a course of poles or x-rails. Courses will consist of 4 poles or x-rails, may be taken at the trot or canter.

Junior Walk/Trot Begin to Canter Division:

Open to riders under the age of 18 who are not ready to compete at the canter in a group.  All disciplines welcome to compete.  To be shown collectively at the walk and trot, and individually at the canter. 

Open Division:

Open to all riders of all ages.  All Disciplines welcome to compete.

Leadline:

Open to riders 10 years of age or under.  To be shown collectively at the walk, and individually at the trot.  To be judged with an emphasis on equitation.

Horse or Pony in Hand:

Open to all horses and ponies.  To be shown in a bridle in hand.  Will be asked to jog.  To be judged on fitting and showmanship.

Knock down and Out:

Height to start at 2’6”.  Open to all riders, horses and ponies.  Class will be completed at management’s discretion.  $25 to be awarded to winner!!!

Sit a stocking:   

Open to all riders.  To be ridden with out saddle.  Will be asked to walk trot and canter both ways of the ring.  $25 to be awarded to last rider with stocking!!!

  • Stalls available with appropriate notice for non-clients wanting to ship in or overnight stay for the day of the show.
